Taking in the Maryland State Fair

Working at home, it’s easy to stay inside, in our comfort zone. In the empty nest, it’s even easier to get closed off and not go beyond these walls. But we are determined to live our life, take on new adventures and enjoy life.

In that spirit, last night Randy and I ventured to the Maryland State Fair for the first time. It was a Tuesday night so that might explain how slow it was but, from our experiences in Illinois, this fair was a glorified carnival. Really surprised because it was a beautiful night.

Maybe if we decide to venture there next year, we might have to brave the weekend crowds for a little more excitement!
