Stamping to Add Texture

One of my newest stamp sets with 49 and Market is called Springtime Harmony and it’s the perfect stamp to use to add texture to your pages.

What I love about this stamp is that you don’t have to use the whole stamp image. I inked sections of the stamp to add texture behind my photo and elements. Adding in newsprint and ephemera stamps has always been one of my favorite things to do in digital. You can find some of my favorite vintage digital stamps here.

The idea with the stamp is not to be able to read it but rather to allow the newsprint to add visual texture to your page. On this page I also used the Coral Stitched Frames, Coral Mini Collection which includes 2 laser sheets of punch outs of definitions, butterflies etc and I anchored the bottom of the page with the Vintage Artistry Coral Washi. The little typed word strips are from Simple Vintage Botanical line and, unfortunately, are out of print and not available at most stores.
