Hello Friday, Hello Sunshine!

Woke up today to pouring rain. Walking a dog in pouring rain is not ideal in any world. But the sun is coming and it’s about to be the hottest week of the summer. They are saying the feels like temps are going to be over 100° here. Well, that clearly means if there are trips to flower farms they will be in the early morning hours or not at all.

Looks like you will find my in my cool studio for days to come, in between projects around the house of course!

One of the things I really enjoy doing [aside from creating new art] is painting furniture. I’ve been chalk painting and distressing a number of pieces in our home. This one is my dresser. I’m keeping the top wood and painting and distressing the rest of the dresser and got new drawer hardware too! Looking forward to this refresh!
